Grilled Asparagus
You must have a vegetable with your meal so you might as well grill it! I've been enjoying grilled asparagus lately partly because it is so easy to do and also because it tastes great.
Here's what to do:
Ingredients
Asparagus
Salt and pepper
extra virgin olive oil

Wash the fresh asparagus and then cut off the bottom inch or so. Brush the asparagus with olive oil and its ready for the grill.

Prepare your grill for a medium high heat. Toss the asparagus on the grill being sure that the asparagus is perpendicular to the grill grates, otherwise the asparagus will fall through the grates! See - here is an example of how those geometry terms actually come in handy later in life!! Keep an eye on the vegetables being sure not to burn them. Remember you are using the grill to simply soften them, to give them the great grilled flavor, and to add the grill marks. Once the asparagus is done, take it off the grill and serve.

That's a pretty tasty way to get your veggies! Grilled vegetables!!
