Johnsonville Chicken Sausages (Apple Stuffed)
Start this one out by making the blue cheese coleslaw. It is really easy to make. First you mix all of the wet ingredients. Then combine them with the pre-shredded cabbage/coleslaw mix, then add the blue cheese and parsley. Easy.
Mix together the mayo, mustards, vinegar, salt, pepper, and celery salt.
Pour it all over the red cabbage and coleslaw mix.
Add the blue cheese crumbles and chopped parsley. Mix it up!
Oh look at this. At this step put it in the fridge for a few hours to let the flavors mingle. I let mine sit overnight in the fridge. If you like mayo and blue cheese you are in heaven right about now. Personally, I don't really like normal coleslaw. This, I love!

I saw these chicken sausages that are stuffed with apple and I was really intrigued. These are really easy to grill, as they come pre-cooked. They basically just need a nice medium or medium low heat to brown them and get them hot.
This combo worked quite well. There is a nice crunch associated with the coleslaw and the blue cheese sauce tastes amazing dripping down all over this flavorful chicken sausage. Now you guys know I like to eat some big greasy meals. This was quite light but I was still happy. There is much less grease associated with chicken sausage. I can't say they are awesome on their own because I haven't tried them. I can say that they work really well with this blue cheese coleslaw! I'm happy!
This blue cheese coleslaw recipe was modified from Ina Garten's recipe. I modified the ratio of ingredients and used pre-shredded coleslaw. It's a winner.
